The state of “not knowing” is brutal. It’s ever-present. And, unfortunately, it can make us suffer—greatly. On the other hand, learning to live in uncertainty—and to be okay with not knowing—can be liberating. It can be freeing and joyful. It also be extraordinarily fruitful.
Learning to be present in uncertain times is perhaps the most important thing we can practice. Letting go of the need to know how things are going to work out automatically open us up to possibility—immense possibility.
