I miss me. Can you relate?

I miss me. Do you ever feel that way? Have you ever felt sense of loss or emptiness for who you were? I know that I have. The point of spending time by yourself every day—to gather and ground— is to remember who you are. The yearning and the sense of missing yourself may still re-emerge from time to time. However, that essential time spent beneath the busyness of life, builds trust in your deeper intelligence. And, as that trust builds, you recognize more and more that your true essence is right here—always and forever.

Caught up in the speed of life, you simply forget. Mindfulness and other contemplative practices are ways to remember who you are so that you miss yourself less.
